Best comedy films in bollywood

Hello,
In December I revised a lot of hindi movies. Here are some of the carefree and heartwarming, feel good movies movies I can recollect :)

Andaz Apna Apna (1994)- Nothing matches this movie, its difficult to find the funniest scene because the each and every scene is iconic. If you haven't seen this, you might be missing the best in Bollywood.
Crime Master Gogo, the legend

Bawarchi (1972) - A good-guy Raghu saves a joint family from splitting. A film with very high values.
Good morning

Chhoti Si Baat (1975) - A simple and sweet film about Amol Palekar trying to impress a girl.
Jaaneman Jaaneman

Chupke Chupke (1975) - A movie about a prank. Another innocent comedy.
The drunkard Keshto Mukherjee

Coolie No. 1 (1995) - A coolie marries a rich girl, pretending to be a richer man. Govinda and Kader Khan at their best.
Main toh raste se jaa rha tha :)

Dulhe raja (1998) - A dhaba inside a 5-star hotel boundary. Again Kader Khan and Govinda.
Tu kiski taraf hai

Gol Maal (1975) - A man acts as his boss likes, but in real life he is the opposite. A classic with a brilliant Utpal Dutt.
Last scene

Hera Pheri (2000) - A phone changes the life three broke men.
Awesome Babu bhaiya

Jab We Met (2007) - One of the freshest love stories with exceptional crisp dialogues.
Zindagi rail ki patri hai

Khoobsurat (1980) - A Khoobsurat (beautiful) Rekha adds life to a disciplined and dull home.
Saare niyam tod do

Maalamaal Weekly (2006)- A dead man wins a lottery in a poor village. Funniest cast possible- Asrani, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav.
Mangal hathi

Main, Meri Patni... Aur Woh (2005) - Rajpal Yadav marries a girl, who is too good for him.
A peak into his life

Munnabhai MBBS (2003) - This movie depicts the Indian dream of becoming a doctor is the best possible way.
Poor people hungry people

Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010) - An NRI gets kidnapped four times. Funny and smart at the same time, with lovable gangsters like Unni (Manu Rishi) and Bhai Sahab (Sanjay Mishra the great). English class of Unni.

Tanu Weds Manu (2011) - Predictable yet so Indian. One of the few good desi love stories. Great songs.
Rangrez

Tere Bin Laden (2010) - Coolest singer around Ali Zafar debuts in a satirical comedy about 'USA's war on terror'.
Ullu da patha

Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008) - Story of a letter writer turned writer. Depicts our rural life.
My favorite Yashpal Sharma

  1. I enjoyed most of these movies, nice compilation. Though I am not very sure that welcome to Sajjanpur counts as a Comic Movie.

    1. Yeah, initially the title of this post was 'feel good films' . So, it may qualify in that genre.
